my good friend, Nick Alsman? It's good. You know what? It's always great to hear your voice no matter

the quality of microphone. And what's going to come out of the voice is really the most important thing.

So let's focus on that.

You know what? On a podcast where I didn't figure out the right way for my mic to face for a very,

very long time, I think that those sentiments are exactly what we need. Speaking of sentiments,

before we get to the larger show in which we're going to be breaking down the disastrous

spaces with Elon Musk, as well as the state of play with the debt ceiling. First of all,

happy travels to Tina Turner. What of the best ever do it. What an absolute tragedy. One might say

she was simply the best. I got to tell you when I was a kid, Nick, and I heard simply the best, like,

it filled me with so much inspiration. It made me want to be a better basketball player,

a better kid, better person. Tina Turner, what a talent. Yeah, no, she was terrific. Really,

a singular talent, and it's really, it's too bad. And an incredible person, too, on top of the talent.

I got to tell you, it's somebody who grew up in, like, a dysfunctional home, like an

abusive environment.

Tina Turner was one of the first people to, like, really speak out openly and very, very

specifically about domestic abuse and violence.
