What's going on while Black family? You know when you hear my voice at the beginning of the

episode is some special comment. This is it. Two part episode this week. We're talking about

prisons, reform, public defenders, education. We're talking about a lot of stuff that matters

and some of it's going to come to you in ways you've probably never considered.

It's a panel interview today and there was so much amazing needed dope-ass information.

We decided to break it into two episodes. I don't want to give you much. So start now tune in

to episode one from our conversation on prisons and education.

I think the one thing I would say is that I would want to disrupt the idea that college inside

prison is about rehabilitation. That's a red herring. It just makes us feel good about what we're

doing to say somehow we are rehabilitating or fixing people that we're in. That's an enormous

distraction to what prison really is which is systemic injustice. Yeah. And what when you go inside

prisons and you meet them with college education that they never had an option of on the outside,

you're just granting human rights. Education is a human right. It is a human right. It's a human

right and a civil right. And both of those have been denied.
