you've ever elicited from a client?

Early in VaynerMedia, we went into a meeting

and the gentleman saw that I was wearing jeans in a hoodie

and he viscerally delivered thanks for dressing up.

We won the business and he was an early investor in Rezzi

because we became so close after that meeting.

Again, that goes back to compassion and empathy.

I could have met his negativity with negativity.

I chose not to and it's led to a very fruitful relationship.
