verse 1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 8 the Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit writes

By way of introduction, I think it's important at the start that I mentioned once again that

being disqualified does not mean that you lose your salvation.

What it does mean is that you lose your rewards in

heaven and even your blessings here on earth, which is why Paul is going to go to a

great extent here in chapter 10 to warn the Corinthian Christians, very specifically by the way, and he does

so by using the example of the Israelites. We saw the first warning in verses 1 through 4,

which is that of relying on past blessings.

Here Paul says the Corinthians, like the Israelites before them,

were in danger of taking God's past blessings for granted, which they did,

such that those blessings had in fact become an excuse, even a license for their sinful
