Summary

Disneyland Paris offers Disney fans the unique opportunity to visit a familiar destination (Disney) while experiencing French culture and cuisine. With two parks (Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park) plus a half dozen Disney-owned resort hotels, Disney Village, and more, Disneyland Paris Resort offers attractions that are similar to ones you will find at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and many more you can only experience in France. Even if you're not a hard-core Disney fan, Disneyland Paris is worth seeing and provides a wonderful excuse to experience Paris, France, and other parts of Europe. In this episode, I'm joined by a former podcast guest (Kristina) and a new guest (Richard), both of whom have visited Disneyland Paris several times (in fact, Richard is an Annual Passholder). We discuss our tips, strategies and advice for planning a first visit to Disneyland Paris. We discuss the reasons you should consider making the trip to France, differences between the Disneyland Paris Resort and Disneyland and Walt Disney World, where to stay (including some incredible "good neighbor" options), how many days to visit the parks, Premier Access, French culture, and other recommendations. You know, I should have introduced this episode and the previous episode in French, considering the topic, but I did not want to offend our French listeners because my French accent is terrible.

So I thought I would just introduce in English as I usually do.

1:04.4

But this topic today is going to be all about planning a trip to Disneyland Paris.

We had a discussion in episode 147, which was

1:13.3

part one, where we talked about the time of year to plan a trip to Disneyland Paris or how to

1:19.0

decide when to go and what the climate is like throughout the year, planning how long you should

1:23.9

stay, how you should get there from various destinations, and of course,

1:27.6

that question of where do I stay when I go to Disneyland Paris.

1:31.5

In part two, this episode, we're going to speak about park-going strategy, including which

1:37.0

parks we would tackle first, some of the attractions that we enjoy at Disneyland Paris and

1:41.8

the Walt Disney Studios Park, as well as places to eat at both parks

1:45.5

and the Disney Village. We also talk about incorporating Disneyland Paris into a broader

1:50.8

Parisian, French, and even European vacation, and how you can turn this into an opportunity

1:57.1

to see other places outside of Disneyland Paris and how easy it is being in

2:03.2

Disneyland Paris to get to so many different places from there. Plus some final wrap-up thoughts
