What's a day today has been?

Hello and welcome to a Dick to the Mouse.

Today is Sunday, September 21st.

You'll listen to episode number 730.

And today we are catching up with all of you're like, halfway through the morning, you you're like should I just go back to bed

and start this over can I please start today over because today was not what I was expecting to do

so we woke up this morning and we're like you know we like especially on weekends we kind of lay in bed

scroll our phones and um you know check up on you know the, the socials, the news, all the things.

And then we kind of roll our way out of bed, make some coffee.

But we are working every day.

And so eventually we do have to get to work.

And today I was editing one of our last few videos from our Epic Europe adventure. And I go to pull out, I have a piece of hardware. It is this digital, it's basically a square, but it's got knobs and buttons on it. And it helps me to edit faster, edit videos faster. And so I've got out set up with different shortcuts. So I'm not just like using my mouse and my keyboard. I'm actually using this piece of hardware.

It's got like a scroll wheel on there and then some smaller dials that I can, you know, edit everything, basically, in Final Cut Pro.

And I pick it out of the case and the main scroll wheel falls out of the thing.

This is not a cheap piece of hardware.

I'm like, what the heck just happened?

And I knew right then it there that today's going to be a very challenging and trying day.

I ended up just editing, not using that piece of hardware, just editing.

Well, first, I spent far too long trying to find a screwdriver that would

fit the tiny little screws on the back of this thing, which are torque screws, by the way.

I couldn't find one.

I found one that was too large and too small, go figure.
