They are straight up fantastical.

The one we spend the most amount of time and is for sure Antonio's and after he is gifted the ability to speak to animals, his room transforms into a literal jungle. Can you even imagine trying to vacuum that place? Because I can't. I literally can't. You vacuum the tree?

This tells us unsurprisingly that the rooms tend to reflect the power of the owner, but sadly we only ever really get to spend that much time in three characters' rooms,
