Summary

Whether your first trip to Walt Disney World was 1971 or 2001, there are attractions that have come and gone throughout the course of the park's history. As Walt Disney once said, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." While the changes made are often for the best (and the new attractions are ones that we grow to love), there is always a part of us that misses our old favorites. In today's episode, we explore that very topic to identify the extinct attractions at Disney that we miss or missed. Special thanks to John and Ann Marie for lending their voices and opinions to this show! You can learn more about their podcast (Central Florida Sights and Sounds) by visiting http://www.cfsas.com. Which of Disney's extinct attractions do you miss the most? Which did you never get to experience that you wish you could today? I would love to hear your thoughts! have changed quite a bit since their opening days in 1955 and 1971, respectively.

1:01.6

And that was, of course, per Walt's original vision, that the parks would constantly be updated

1:06.2

and changed with the times, with new technology.

1:09.2

We know that even he had said that Disneyland

1:12.3

would constantly be changing, that not only would they replace and add things, but that the trees

1:17.5

would keep on growing, the place would get to be more beautiful every year, and of course

1:21.9

the Imagineers have stayed true to Walt's original vision and have adapted and changed the parks with new technology,

new movies, new shows that have come out.

1:32.5

So we, of course, now have the opportunity to look back at some of Disney's extinct

attractions.

1:37.9

And I have brought onto the show two guests who have been on the show before, but not since

But they were the perfect guests to bring onto the show.
