I'm feeling a little under the weather speaking of our time at Disney, but this time I'm getting lots of negative COVID tests.

Well that's good and that's a way to tie in Disney. Another way would be to say that your health was about to be handed to you and some guys swooped in and grabbed it from you right off the podium.

With a lot of glee on his face. I of course am talking about this clip that's been going around this week that I said to you, I'm sure made it to your desk in some way or another where a couple got engaged at Disney which is not unlike something or an idea I feel like I would have had in another life.

And they go to executed on top of what I believe is like a podium or maybe they do shows or they do something during the day and in the middle of the guy down on his knees, ring out woman there someone recording this obviously knew it was coming filming the whole thing they're perfectly in frame.

And then the Disney cast member staff member wearing the Mickey ears swoops in walks in between them grabs the ring and and just and then walks down the stairs directly towards the camera and then starts to usher them down with his hand like nope, nope, not going to happen.

Nope, not doing it. Get down. And you've seen this clip.

Correct. I've seen this clip. The weirdest part of it to me is how he doesn't make eye contact with them. He just grabs it and walks straight forward like he's on a mission. It just feels very unhumans uncarrying.

Yeah, so, okay, just to clarify because you know, I've read a bunch of takes on this. Most people seem to hate it like I do and like I think you do. And then some people who I feel like might be a little bit removed from Disney or don't really get the magic of Disney or just like what the guys doing his job, right.

Here's the thing. I don't know the specifics of the situation people are saying maybe it was a dangerous platform to be on. Maybe there was going to be fireworks or something projectiling he was keeping them safe. Okay, all fine and good. I don't disagree with him getting them off the platform in a timely fashion.

But this clearly was not the way to do it in the sense that this made it take longer, right. Like how do you kind of gotten up or maybe waited a beat. I probably would have done that. But then maybe got up there and ushered them down. Still probably would have caught some flack. But the taking the ring is the part that I think everyone can agree was audacious here.

And again, didn't serve its purpose because there's still up on the platform. The ring is now below the platform. It's almost like we were trying to teach them a lesson and room that ruined their video clip.

They're looking, you know, I would think someone had on first, you know, first reaction. I would think maybe somebody stole this ring. I think it's really expensive and that you don't know what first you're doing it.

I mean, it's take a minute to sort of take on a awareness of what's going on around you. I mean, and the guy, all things considered handled it well because he didn't like tackle the guy you're right. I mean, I would maybe assume maybe it was somebody coming to steal the ring.

And then he usheres them down. There's this weird lack of eye contact. And I want to value what that ring is, like not just monetary value, but my ring had sentimental value.

So if someone had tried to grab my mom's ring, I would, you know, be very upset.

I mean, here's the deal. We got married in a fairly public place, not Disney world, of course. But we get married in a public place. We got engaged in a public place.

Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. We got engaged. Yes. So just like the story engaged in a public place at the Stanford Nature Center in front of the autoreximate.
