Summary

Disney vacations in my family are a tradition, a legacy that began long before I was born. Since the time my parents were young children, they have been visiting Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and even the 1964 World's Fair. After I was born, my family continued the tradition of visiting the Disney Parks and Resorts, which inevitably led to my love for all things Disney, my decision to become a Disney Cast Member, and my efforts to start Imagineer Podcast in my post-Cast Member days. In this episode, I gather around the [virtual] table with my Mom and Uncles to hear the Disney stories from their childhood and reminisce about our Disney adventures in modern times. 0:58.1	I wanted to share something rather special and close to home, because as many of you know,
1:04.9	as I've shared on the podcast before, Disney has been an integral part of my life long before I started this podcast from literally the time that I was an infant.
1:16.1	Before my earliest memories, Disney has always been such a tremendous part of my life.
1:22.8	And whenever I talk to my family, those who are either in my immediate family or my extended family,
1:30.3	I find that it's not just important to me, but it's also important to the other members of my
1:36.9	family and is, it has to do with this tradition that began long before I was even born,
1:43.8	and is something that I think will, at least I hope,
1:47.2	resonate with a lot of you because a lot of you listening probably have Disney family traditions
1:53.1	that began either when you were born or before you were born or perhaps you were the first
1:59.1	ones to go to Walt Disney World or to Disneyland
2:02.4	and you started taking your kids with you and building traditions and memories and
2:06.5	continuing on this legacy of Disney vacations or even Disney at home. I find that Disney is
2:14.3	such a big part of so many families around the world.
2:20.5	So in today's episode, I'm excited to bring onto the show three very important people in
2:26.9	my life who are my mom and my two uncles.
2:30.4	They grew up going to Disney, dating back to the 1964 World's Fair in New York,
2:38.3	to Walt Disney World, the first year that it opened, and they've continued to visit Walt Disney
2:44.4	World and Disneyland and even other Disney destinations with my family, with myself, with my sister, with my cousins.
