God, the 1960s were really different, weren't they?

Let's get started by bringing in the man who says that after careful listening,

Guns and Roses has made him feel not at all welcome in the jungle.

It's Mr. Jim Hill. Jim, how's it going?

Okay, Lent, now, given that Guns and Roses was formed in 85 and signed with Gavin in 86,

you can't really call them contemporaries of Alice Cooper because welcome to my Nightmare 75, right?

75, yeah, 10 years, 10, 15 years earlier, yeah.

Yeah, but I just came across some stories about Alice Cooper that I have to share.

It turns out for all of Alice's makeup and the stage craft and that sort of thing,

it turns out he was like this genuinely nice kid.

Yeah, but like when he moved to Hollywood, his first house was literally down the street

from the then very elderly Groucho Marx who suffered from insomnia.

So, there were these great stories about how Alice would be home,

had to get her just to finish the tour and the phone would ring at like 11 o'clock and it's

Groucho. It's like, hi, you want to come over and watch a movie?

Yeah, saw your light was on.

Yeah, I heard that and I don't know how I remember that, but that's like one of these things like

it's so strange that once you know it, you can't unknow it.
