to four of five on the history of the Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's Hollywood

Studios.

Let's get started by bringing in the man who says that push spelled backwards means pull.

Jim, how's it going?

The whole push pull thing, isn't it kind of the equivalent of the buttered toast scenario

to the effect of you approach a door, and if you push it, it's going to be a pull in

much the same way that whether or not your toast falls butter side up depends on the value

of the carpet you're standing on.

That's exactly what my life is.

I was at MoMA this last weekend with Laurel, and we were going through the calder exhibit

of mobiles, and the door to exit the exhibit was a pull door, which is odd, because in

the United States normally, all exit doors should be pushed.

So I tried pushing on the door, and that didn't work, and the woman behind me said, it's

a pull door, and I said, oh, because the next thing I was going to try is lifting from

the bottom, and she actually snorted laughter.

That's great, that's great.
