On the show today, news and listener questions. In our main segment Jim finishes up a story on

Kali River Rapids that we started way back in 2016. Let's get started by bringing in the

man who says that Pie is a real-time pie chart showing how much pie is left.

Jim, how's it going?

Oh, you had to bring a pie.

Okay.

I missed breakfast today, I'm so hungry. All right. The thing is I am the pie maker of the Hill family and especially when it comes to the big holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas so my parents actually have in the corner of the yard,

they have a high bush blueberry bush

and a low bush blueberry bush.

So because I'm the pie master, I'm also the one

I was to pick the berries. And I was just in the yard last week,

basically picking the last berries of the season, and I say the reason they were the last berries

of the season, it was me and three rather irate

grackles who were in the bush at the same time.

You're like, move over man, move over egg.

No, that's kind of, what are you doing picking our food? And it's like, to be picking our food and it's like okay all right you know I don't need an

offered a hitchcock moment here you're I'm done all right look I just I need enough for a couple of

pies it's good and they're like pies?

That's great. A little nature moment for you there, Jim.
