The news is Fox, Fox, Fox. Hollywood's still reeling. Peter Churnin stepped down, as we know.

And then, to everyone's amazement, Peter Legory was out as head of television, which is not actually the really big news.

The big news is that Peter Rice, the head of Fox Searchlight, the little studio that brought you Little Miss Sunshine, Napoleon Dynamite, and this year's Oscar winner, Slumdog Millionaire, is taking over programming of the Fox Television Network.

Now, that has nothing to do with television and more to do with News Corporation as a whole.

Well, the thinking in Hollywood is that Peter Rice is now anointed. He is the chosen one by Rupert Murdoch.
