0:36.8	In recent years, largely white environmental organizations have been reckoning with the communities whose needs have been ignored.
0:44.3	I would argue that most of the movements that we've had have been very specialized for a very long time in the United States.
0:52.3	And not thinking intersectionally, I think, is why we
0:55.7	keep having to have these racial awakenings and environmental movements.
1:01.7	What's the best way to address these injustices?
1:04.7	Our work should aim to uncover those connections at the intersections of race, gender,
1:08.6	ability, class, and geography. And the challenge with representation is in these institutions like this.
