encouraged when I see the places all around the globe, the people are joining us to learn

God's word and to get their minds aligned with the truth of God's word. I see today people

are listening in Turkey, in Iraq, in Jordan, in Saudi Arabia, in Oman, in Iran, in Pakistan.

In Azerbaijan, there are just places all over the Middle East and Asia that the morning mindset

All right, today we have a couple of different sections of Proverbs chapter 26 that we're going

to be looking at. And they all have to do with deceit or trickery. Let's read them.

Verses 18 and 19 say, like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death,

is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, I am only joking.

Verses 24 through 28 say, whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart.

When he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations

in his heart, though his hatred is covered with deception.

His wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. Whoever digs a pit will fall into it,

and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling. A lying tongue hates its victims,

and a flattering mouth works ruined. Now as you can see, these two sections have all kinds of

examples of deceit or trickery that's being perpetrated by the person in view.

And Solomon uses the descriptions of different things to apply to this person to help us see
