So in an interview yesterday, this is by way of USA Today, I want to read the tea leaves here.

Ohio State University President Ted Carter left open translation.

He's telling you what's going to happen.

The possibility of changes to the Big Ten Conference schools revenue sharing arrangements.

Oh, dear God.

Carter said during the interview, Ohio State had around $25 million in athletics revenue for the fiscal year of 2425.

In the context of Clemson and Florida State's recent disputes with the ACC that resulted in the ACC adopting an unbalanced rev share model.

Carter was asked whether he foresaw that happening in the Big Ten, given the television draws of programs like Ohio State and Michigan.

Oh, boy. I don't want to get into the type of conversations that are happening inside the Big Ten.

Oh, you mean the ones that they had at Clemson and Florida State where you want more of the share?

I would tell you we're a proud member of the Big Ten and that's where we're going to stay. I don't

think that that's news. I don't think Ohio State is leaving. We have our own bylaws for how we do

distributions. When new members join, they don't always come in on the same share, as you know.

So that's the way our deals are set up. That's how it's set up for now.

Carter was then asked what he thinks about where it goes in four or five years.

We don't have any answers.

I'll just say there's only a couple of schools that really represent the biggest brands in the Big Ten.

And you see it by viewership.

I mean, look at what we just went through with the Texas game.

You know, 16.6 million people watched that game, and it peaked at 18.6.
