In October 2017, Royal Kremlin made a big change to its unlimited alcohol package by requiring

all guests who are adults in the state room to purchase an unlimited alcohol package if one adult

elects to do so. And this week I wanted to talk about it because it is generating a ton of

comments, as you might imagine, at Royal Caribbean blog.com. And it's an important change. First of all,

So Royal Caribbean's Deluxe beverage package, aka the unlimited alcohol package, has been a

And up until last week, Royal Caribbean allowed guests to purchase an unlimited alcohol package

for just whomever wanted it.

So if, you know, if it was two parents and the kids in the room, if one parent wanted the drink package, only one had to do so, and the other one did not.

Now, that is actually flying in the face of pretty much every other cruise line out there, especially cruise lines that are competitors to Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, specifically.

They actually have drink packages, A, and B, they've been requiring for years all adults
