Welcome into the Browns Film Breakdown.

We have what is a celebratory edition of the show today as the Browns made

the announcement of something we all thought was coming in the decision to extend the contracts

of head coach Kevin Stefansky and general manager, Andrew Barry. Exciting stuff.

It's Jake and Andrew here to go through what is going to be a very hyper-focused

celebratory edition of the show, really, you know, giving proper credit to the Browns, the hires,

and these guys in the performance that they have put together in their time in Cleveland

through four years. Exciting stuff. Andrew Spade, what's up, man? Pleased to be with you, Jake. It's fun to do shows where we have something to celebrate. Usually these shows tend to happen more during the season, right? Like after they clinched against the Jets, that's one of my favorite shows that we've done together talking to you in the car on the way home from the game. That was a hoot. Other other times,

you know, that they've pulled off an offseason move or whatever. It, you kind of, I know as

somebody that was a listener of this podcast for a long time before joining it, you get excited to

kind of download that next episode and just, just here and kind of bask in the moment.

This is definitely in that neighborhood, right?

Because this isn't just about like having some success.

This is about having enough success over multiple years that the smart thing, the right thing to do is to give an additional contract to each of these guys.

And we're talking about it's the first time in 30 plus a years for both the general

manager and the head coach.

It just hasn't happened.

And so it feels like a breath of fresh air.

I mean, I didn't expect, honestly, to feel that different about it.

Like when thinking about the news ahead of time, they talked in March at the

owners meetings, the Haslums did, that this was going to get done at some point. You kind of knew
