Carter was feeling under the weather. We tried pushing things back. We had to push it back even

further. And now we have no Carter Rodriguez. There's no live stream. I apologize.

Hopefully he is feeling better soon. But I'm feeling pretty okay because I got a friend of the podcast returning. Tony Pesta is back, has reporter for Fear of the Sword and Big Play, as well as the host of the Junkyard Pod. Tony, how you doing, buddy? I'm doing great. I hope Carter feels better soon. No one likes to be sick, especially now. I don't know what the weather's like by you, but in the Cleveland area, we've gotten like a taste of spring recently. And so that's helped

me. That's brought, you know, new life to me and getting down the stretch of the season, just feeling

rejuvenated. So I hope Carter gets to feel some of that soon. And thanks so much for having me on.

We're getting hints of spring. Right now it is snowing once again, so I'm a little annoyed at that.

But at least we have daylight.

At least there is, you know, that silver lining on the horizon.

And the cast has some silver linings on the horizon as well.

We got an update in the game via George Sedanow that Jared Allen is nearing a return.

He has been ruled out for Friday's game against Dallas, so not that soon, but hopefully

very soon.

And Max Struce may return as soon as Sunday.

Tony, do you miss Jared Allen as much as I do?

I really have been missing his presence out there, and of course we've been missing Max all season long. I would be surprised if anybody didn't miss Jared Allen at this point, because even though in years past, he's kind of been thrown under the bust, he's the one who gets blamed when things go wrong. I think that's kind of all changed recently, and especially that, you know, stretch in January and February where he was kind of the hero. I think that's solidified, his value and importance of this team, almost to the point where it's kind of flipped the narrative now to where Evan Mowgli is the guy who gets thrown under the bus, which I think is kind of funny. But, you know, things change quickly in the NBA. but to tie this back to Jared Allen, like, we've seen all year long why he's so important. And the chemistry between him and James Hardin is something that we love to see when it was out there. And I think we're all just excited to get back to that and see what else they can tap into down the stretch here and getting Max Drews back. Like I was thinking about it today.
