Hi everybody, it's Fraser Kane here.

This is kind of strange, but this is an impromptu of Google Hangout that we did to discuss

this exciting announcement that NASA's Kepler mission had discovered Earth-sized planets

orbiting another star.

And so I pulled together some of our astronomy friends, Dr. Phil Plate, Alan Boyle from MSNBC,

Emily Lactawala from Planetary Society, and Nancy Atkinson from Universe today, and this

is the result.

It's actually on video, so if you want to see a cooler version, if you head to Universe

today's YouTube channel, you can see what we did, and it should be available there.

And hopefully this is kind of the format that we're planning for future versions of doing

astronomy casts live as a Google Hangout, so I thought this would give you a bit of a

sneak preview of what we're planning.
