Summary

The overarching question many of us may have on our minds is, “Why am I here on earth and what am I supposed to do?” We learn the answer when we find out the destiny that God has already planned and created for us. When we consider the deepest desires of our heart that seem to have always been there and will not go away, it is because God deliberately put them there. This was no accident; it is His will that we acknowledge those desires and pursue them. Ways to discover what God wants us to do include determining what sparks our passion, knowing what talents automatically emerge from us, and seeking guidance from godly people in this area. Other ways include listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to us, understanding what we can fully commit ourselves to, knowing what produces outstanding results in our lives, and paying attention to whether or not we have peace. Following these strategies allows God to lead us to the destination He wants for us.

0:25.9	is, why am I here on earth and what am I supposed to do? And I don't know what I'm supposed to do,
0:36.7	and how do I figure out what I'm supposed to do? And you tell them, well, God knows what you're
0:41.2	supposed to do. Yeah, but how do I get him to tell me what I'm supposed to do? So we're going
0:46.4	to talk about discovering your destiny in the Lord, because please understand that every life
0:52.8	is headed towards a destination. You remember the anatomy of life, whatever you expose yourself to
1:00.4	is going to create your thinking. So what you're exposed to will create the way you think,
1:05.5	what you think will create the way you feel, how you feel will create the decisions you make,
1:11.4	your decisions will create the actions, your actions will create your habits, habits will create
1:16.6	your character, and your character will create your destination. So you are going to end up your
1:22.8	destination based on starting off or starting off with what you've been exposing yourself to.
1:29.2	Now, we talked about that when we were talking about the 12 steps of change, but what you expose
1:33.8	yourself to all the way to your destination. So your exposure is going to determine your destination,
1:39.2	the way you think, where you feel, the decisions you make, the actions you take, the habits you create,
1:44.8	the character you make will determine your destination. Now, what I want you to understand is that
1:51.8	God has already designed a destiny for your life. It's something that, you know, God's already
2:01.1	figured out and God already knows. The problem is if you start creating your own destiny when one
2:08.5	has already been created for you, not only are you going to spend your life just beating your
2:14.8	head against the concrete because every time you decide you think you're supposed to be here,
