So this morning I get to talk about my father.

The heart of this message is the father's heart. The Gospel is not a formula.

The Gospel is a father who bankrupted heaven just to get us.

The gospel is not that God's like a father,

it's that he is father. My friend Adam Cox said if, if God didn't want the

kingdom to be called a family, he wouldn't have called himself father.

It's the father who's seeking worshippers Jesus said in John 4. I love that he's not seeking worship, but he's seeking the worshipper,

because he's more concerned in what we become than what we do.

That's the heart of a father. The first time we see the word worship show up in this story in the

scripture is when Abraham looks at his son Isaac and he says let's go worship on the mountain.

Little did the son know what was about to happen.

And the first time we see a worship movement,

it's family attached to it, a father and a son walking up a mountain.

The last time we see the word worship in the scripture is when the father is on his throne

and his children are surrounding him with a song.

I believe that a great worship movement will look like family

because the more heaven comes to earth the more the earth looks like family.

Yeah?

We are singing back to the father the song he first sang to us.
