Hi Neil, this series began about 4,300 years ago in Mesopotamia, and each week we travelled closer in time to the present day.

Last week we landed in the 1600s and we travelled with you from Queen Elizabeth's England to the Indian subcontinent.

Where are we this week?

Hi Paul.

Well we're still in the 1600s this week but we're swapping international

geopolitics for science. We're traveling around Europe, Northern Europe, with a

rather brusque competitive and secretive scientist as he starts collecting data and

unraveling the truth of our place in the universe. We're in Prague in 1601 when Tycho Brahe dies and his collaborator Johannes Kepler takes up

the baton and proves that we and Earth are not the center of the universe.

I find this one especially fascinating for all sorts of reasons because it's to do with understanding the movement of the lights in the sky.

Coming to terms with who's moving and who's standing still, you know, who's going round who.
