their cozy cabin, the little lake and working at trekkers, well, they've all made it easier for

Jamie to like her new home. And her new friend Kayla didn't hurt either. Jamie had even learned

to sleep through the spring thunderstorms.

Did you climb the ladder? No, you can't do that. That's not possible. You're an Australian

shepherd, not a circus dog. Jamie sat up in her bed. She was wide awake now. Gadget ran to the end of

the little loft that she'd climbed for her bedroom. Now before Jamie could jump up and stop him, Gadgett squeezed through the railing on the

far end.

He'd found the spot where the opening was just a little bigger.

He jumped and landed with a thud.
