That legalism is not going to get you anywhere.

We were made for a loving relationship with God and from that we do what we're called to do.

We're not called to live out a life of legalism and hope that God will love us.

We are continuing our Galatians series.

So if this is your first time watching, hi, hello, for the past few weeks, we've been diving into the book of Galatians.

And really pulling out what it is that Paul was writing to the Church of Galatia and the Galatian region.

But if this is your third, fourth, fifth time or you've just been listening throughout the whole series, hi, hello, welcome.

I'm glad that we are getting back into it.

And so in today's episode, we are going over Galatians chapter four verses eight through 11.

So get ready, have your Bibles open, have your notes ready or just sit back and relax and listen.

We're going to start by reading from the ESV translation and seeing what it says.

And then we're going to dive into these five verses that we have for today.

So beginning in verse eight, it says, formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods.

But now you have come to know God or rather to be known by God.

How can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world whose slaves you want to be once more?

You observed days and months and seasons and years.

I am afraid I may have labored over you in vain.
