For a long time, I have enjoyed 2020 vision, both eyes.

And to a certain degree, I do.

And I said one time a number of years ago to some of my colleagues, I said, you know,

I will never have one of those reading glasses.

I mean, we'll never need them.

I have 20-20 vision.

But somewhere, around 47, 48, I got up one morning and I was sitting in my normal place

and reading my Bible as I always do, and I noticed that the reading lamp was not working as well. And so I tried to adjust it, but it didn't work. It's one of those three steps thing, one, two, three. And I said, well, it must be, it's not working on the third thing. And finally I got up and got a new light bulb. I said, that's why I need a new light bulb. So I put a new

light bulb in. Still was not working. And that's why I thought, well, I might be having some disease in my eye or something. And a week later, I was talking to a dear friend of mine, as an eye doctor, and I said, you know, I need to come and see you. I think I'm developing some sort of a disease in my eye. He said, no, don't waste your time. Just go to the drugstore

and get the 1%. The law. I think I'm developing some sort of a disease in my eye. He said, no, don't waste your time.

Just go to the drugstore and get the 1%, the lowest you can get, and start reading.

I said, no, no, no, I have 20-20 vision.

He said, just listen to me, do what I tell you.

Now, that's very hard for me to do, but I did anyway and went ahead.

And sure enough, I got one of those

drugstore bought glasses and put them on, and it worked.

I was reading, and it was like the light came on.

I was reading much better.

But I thought of that experience.

I always will.
