0:00.0	The word spirituality has become a buzzword now, and to my knowledge of history, it's the first time in 2,000 years of Christian history that it is used in a different context to that of being of the Holy Spirit, that it is used as a buzzword for everything from fortune
0:26.7	tellers to tarot card readers to channeling to psychic hotlines to contacting the dead that's all called
0:36.8	spirituality and all lumped together. And it's become
0:41.6	a modern-day phenomenon. Not only that, but it actually has become a multi-billion dollar
0:47.7	business. And the reason why people are seeking so much to know about the future. Why do they go to these folks who know
0:58.8	nothing about the future and give them a lot of hocus pocus? It's because the natural man,
1:05.3	and you and I have to understand that, there is a desperate need in a natural man to know the future. They want to know the future. They want to know that there is a desperate need in a natural man to know the future.
1:11.5	They want to know the future.
1:13.4	They want to know that there is hope on the other side in their future.
1:17.6	They want to know because they are fearful of the future.
1:22.8	And that is why the statistics that I read from very reliable sources
1:27.4	says that very large percentage
1:30.0	of church goers have been going to these fortune tellers and tariff card readers.
1:37.4	They want to know the future.
1:38.8	In fact, I read this week about this woman who really was so anxious about her future. And she decided to go to one
1:47.1	of those fortune tellers. But before the fortune teller can say anything to her, she said,
1:52.7	you need to understand. I'm anxious. I'm in trouble. My husband is unfaithful to me. Everything is
1:59.3	going wrong. My daughter just ran away and married a drifter.
2:04.6	You got to understand I'm very anxious about the future. Even my dog died yesterday.
2:10.5	And before he does his hocus pocus, the fortune teller collected his fees, of course.
2:16.3	And then he said to her, he's your future. Your husband
2:20.8	business is going to fail very soon, and you'll be destitute. And what else? What else?
