0:00.0	Back in 1993, my daughter before she went to college gave me a poster.
0:07.3	It's a picture of a child in bed.
0:10.3	The dad is kneeling to pray and intercede.
0:15.1	And as dad kneels to pray, an angel of the Lord is at the window, preventing satanic attack upon the family and upon
0:25.6	their child.
0:27.4	In many ways, that poster really merely scratches the surface of what really happens when
0:34.1	the righteous prays.
0:36.9	This poster is mere illustration of that invisible war
0:42.8	that is taking place when the righteous pray. This poster is mere visual imagery of what goes on behind that invisible spiritual curtain that we cannot see
1:01.7	with our eyes, our physical eyes, but we can see and understand with our spiritual eyes.
1:07.9	And today in Daniel chapter 10, we're going to see a man doing just that on his knees,
1:15.7	in prayer, interceding. And as he prays, a war was raging on that other side of the invisible
1:25.2	curtain. This gives us a glimpse of what the Bible talks about
1:30.1	from Genesis to Revelation. And the last message, if we looked at Daniel, chapter 9, that is
1:36.0	the prayer of Daniel. Daniel was on his face praying, although most of the people could not
1:44.0	care less about him praying for them.
1:48.5	They couldn't care less about his prayer, but nonetheless, Daniel was praying for them.
1:55.9	The reason they did not care is because they were oblivious to the desperate condition in which they were in.
2:05.4	They were so blinded by the enemy that they could not see the danger that is lurking around the corner.
2:12.4	They were oblivious to the reality of their desperate condition.
2:16.8	I want to remind you that Daniel stood firm for God since the age of 14 when he was taken captive
2:27.3	from Jerusalem into Babylon.
