You’ll also learn how the name poor boy came into being, and why the term po-boy is not quite correct! Along the way, we’ll explore the restaurants and people that helped the poor boy become the New Orleans icon it is today. Our first ever guest on the show is a man who literally grew up in the po-boy business and owned an iconic New Orleans neighborhood restaurant for 36 years, Teddy’s Grill. He is an expert on the business of the po-boy, and also happens to be my dad - vincent Bologna!
