Oh, because he looked really good. It's now the time that I should tell the story of when I got yelled at by Rick Barry before I became a sports writer.

Uh, actually, yeah, that's on the radio. I haven't heard this. This is great.

The Rick Barry, huh? He was, he was certainly, that's a surprise.

Huge, huge surprise. So I was, I was actually when I was working for the four dealership in Marin and I was doing dealer trade.

So I was taking cars all the way around and I happened to, I think I was between drives or something like that.

And I called in and you will love the nuance of this. So this is when that whole Carlos Booser that Carlos Booser is burning the calves to go to the

Oh, yes, 2004. Yeah. Wow. Okay. Yes. And so I called in and basically said, and remember, I just gotten into basketball a few years before and was starting to

learn the CBA. And I basically said, I don't think this is as much of a betrayal because it seems to me like the calves did it this way to try to save some money.

And he basically called their bluff a little bit on it and Rick Barry basically just yelled at me for about five minutes.

Basically saying there was no loyalty in sports anymore. And it was people like me that were a part of it. And that was fun.

Rick Barry was saying there's no loyalty in sports. He switched between like the NBA and the APA like 97 times.

Oh, man. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not commenting on the accuracy. It was something that happened. It has not affected the ability.

I wrote about Rick Barry, of course, in my book on the history of the Warriors and everything else like that. But it was that was I believe my first talk radio experience.

I did. I actually was on sports talk radio a lot when I was younger. I would just call in at random moments in time to K and B are and then became a guest on K and B are years later, which all of them loved.
