Sometimes we let it run our lives, our fear of discomforts.

Just because something feels bad does not mean it's wrong.

Discomfort is not danger, but oftentimes your body doesn't know that.

Right. Like, oh, this feels weird, we should stop. No. Psychologically, our nervous system is not danger, but oftentimes your body doesn't know that, right?

So we think about this in the world of Instagram, TikTok, all this stuff, if it doesn't feel right instantly, sometimes we go, oh, wait a minute, this isn't right. I shouldn't be doing this.

Oh, my knee hurts. Oh, should stop. No, it's not, it's not that way. And our body cares if we survive,

right? So whenever we do something unfamiliar, like have a hard conversation or have some set of boundary, quit drinking, change careers, or start therapy, when we get honest about our faith, our nervous system reacts the same way it would to a threat.
