Summary

One of the most common conflicts that can destroy a family is an unstable system of discipline. Often, one spouse gives into a kid and undermines the other's authority. When this happens on a regular basis, children can learn who is the 'yes' parent and who is the 'no' parent and begin to play the mother and father against each other.
