Amen and amen. How we do, church? Good? You look great. You look thinner already. Congratulations.

Hey, we're going to need a lot of things, okay? We need so many things. All right. I hope you've got your

vision piece. We're going to walk through that. I hope you got your journal. We'll get to that in just a second.

But just to be clear, most importantly, I hope you brought a copy of God's

word. If you don't have one, there's one in the seat back in front of you, just to be very,

very clear. Every first weekend of every year, we do this, we talk about where we're going

as a church, but the vision for the church is the Word of God. The authoritative, inspired, infallible word of God. The only perfect thing that we have in the world.

Not only is it true, but it's also trustworthy. This means that you can lean your life against the

promises God makes to us and through us in His Word, and they are all yes and amen through Jesus

Christ. And so this vision piece is simply our attempt to align ourselves as a church with the things God calls us to do

through his word. Very, very important. And we have a journal for you. Okay, very important. This is your

journal. You're going to love it. Write your name in it. Write your phone number in it. Single guys,

sit around some single girls. And if they leave their ears, then boom, you got their number. See what I did for you there? Praise God. Now, the reason that we do this journal, it's very expensive, very expensive. The reason we do

this is because we are not in the crowd business, even though we have a big crowd all the time.

We are not in the crowd business. We are in the disciple making business. And you don't know

everything. Men, especially you. Your wife emailed me. She's right. You don't know everything. Men, especially you, your wife emailed me.

She's right. You don't know everything. I'm going to teach you things throughout the year that I would

highly encourage you to write down and go back and read over. Now, just be honest. If you are not going

to use this, please do not take this journal home just to be a paperweight. It's very expensive. Give it back. Don't waste my money.
