0:22.0	there was a great deal of uncertainty about the future and it wasn't just among my friends and I it was on a global scale you could feel it everywhere. There was tension, there was anxiety because there was great
0:35.9	doubt and yet an impending sense of doom about what the future holds. And this great fear was produced by something with a very simple and haunting name.

0:51.0	For those of you who don't know, we were being told that apparently the computers weren't
0:56.1	accustomed to years that started with the number two.
0:59.2	And so all of our technology was about to fail thrusting us into the dark ages. No AOL, no more MapQuest,
1:07.0	no power for our flip phones. It was going to get primitive quick. And Hollywood kept reminding us that trouble was coming.
1:16.2	Movie after movie said the volcanoes are coming to get us.
1:20.4	Floods are coming to get us. The ice is coming to get us. Viruses are coming to get us. The Ice is coming to get us.
1:23.0	Viruses are coming to get us.
1:25.0	Even Will Smith, our best friend who could do no wrong,
1:28.0	was being attacked by aliens and later robots and vampires and zombies.
1:32.0	It was a very stressful time.
1:34.0	So we would gather together around a fire at night and our friends
1:38.8	we began to discuss what are we gonna do if this all goes down?
