A scriptural lesson today comes from Ephesians chapter 1, verse 11 and 12.

Notice there these words in the amplified version of the scriptures.

In him also, we have received an inheritance, a destiny.

We were claimed by God as his own.

Having been predestined, upon it beforehand, according to the

purpose of him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of his will,

so that we who were the first to hope in Christ, who first put our confidence in him as our Lord and Savior,

would exist to the praise of His glory.

I'm talking today simply from the subject, discerning destiny.

Dessarning destiny.

Destiny is not something that you decide.

It's something that you discern. It is something that you decide it's something that you discern it is something that we discover that god has already decided god has a plan for you every human being that comes in the world

it is never by happenstance god has a a plan. God has a plan. Don't be so obsessed

with destiny that you'll just saying, you know, God, I want to find my destiny, I want to know why

I'm here. Begin to seek God because your destiny is in God. It's a God ordained destiny. So when you're connected with the very God

who designed us, who created us, think of it as though he is the manufacturer. He knows exactly

why the thing was manufactured, why it was created, and how it functions optimally. So we seek God,

not merely the destiny of the thing, because our destiny is inseparable from God himself.

So this is why we are calling it discerning destiny as a part of our discernment series.

So we're discerning destiny.

You don't decide the way that you decide, I want to be a doctor, I want to be a teacher,

I want to be a dancer, I want to be an actor, I want to be a football player, a basketball,
