This is the aftermath of a 40 to 7 loss for the Patriots.

You see Phil Perry right there if you're watching on YouTube.

He's going to have plenty to tell us about what happened.

But Phil, this was an unprofessional performance by the New England Patriots.

From the start of the game, even before the game, with messaging about the starting running back

to the very end of the game when the chance of fire mayo were raining down through the

fog and the mist at Gillette Stadium.

Patriots had to close well in this season.

Their final four games were about evaluation and building momentum. There was supposed to be a

foundation laid this season. And on that foundation, which would have its finishing touches,

hopefully, in these last four games, the Patriots would start to build momentum on top of that.

Instead, they have an embarrassing loss, a decent loss, and a humiliating loss. So after this week of significant

improvement, they're back with their worst game in the last two years, and there were plenty

of candidates. Here's to Rob Mayo after the game.

Really nothing good to take out of that game today. You know, just the lack of execution. Look, that's a good football team and

they're a well-coached football team. We just didn't play well enough in any phase of the game,

no complimentary football. And that's what you get. Phil, come on in. I want your perspective,

given that I just gave some, as to what the tenor was in the locker

room after the game. And if you feel as if this changes a geometry for ownership, given that

we've always left the door cracked unless it's a disaster, In two out of three weeks, it has been disastrous.
