You know, many of you know I've made an episode 573 on the Path to a high score in step two. And I've also made a podcast where I talk about how to study for step one, where I pretty much lay out a plan. In 573, I lay out a plan for step two. In some other episode, I lay out a plan for step one. Can I remember it off the top of my head. You should check that out. And then now I'm going to lay it out for step three. A lot of people have emailed me that, Divine, can you just make a podcast targeted just towards step three? So here you go, right? So in this podcast, I'm going to practically lay out a plan of how you can use my podcast and other resources to prepare for step three. literally I I'll go day by day, week by week. All right. So, just as a brief introduction, we know that step three is a two-day exam, right? It's a two-day exam, right? So for those that have taken step one, step two is like, ooh, gee, step three. Yeah, it's a two-day exam, right? Day one is six blocks

of like 30 to 39 questions. So you're going to get about 232-ish questions on day one. And then

the two is six blocks of about 30 questions, right? That's about 180 questions. So between, and then

you're also going to do 13 CCS cases, 13 CCS cases on day, on day two, right? You're going to do 13 CCS cases 13 CCS cases on on day on day two right

all right so 13 CCS cases on day two so if you really really really really add up right if

you really add up, right? If you really add up, um, the number of questions

you're going to see across both days, it pretty much comes to about 412 questions plus the

13 CCS cases. All right. So now, what are some differences between step from step two? What are some differences from step two, right? Because again, if you're taking step three, I would hope you've taken step two, right? Number one is there's a lot more biased statistics, right? There is way more biased statistics on step three than on step two. Number two, there is a ton of ethics on step three, although that's kind of becoming a mute point these days.

I feel like there's a ton of ethics also these days on step one and step two, right?

So all these ethics, social sciences, quality improvement, hospital medicine, like, oh, why should a patient be, when a patient is discharged with this specific diagnosis, what's their prognosis? Or when a patient is discharged with this specific diagnosis, what's the aprognosis, or when a

patient is discharged with this diagnosis, what kind of follow-up should they get? You know, they

infuse those kinds of questions on step three, right? And then I also noticed in my experience,

because I've obviously taken step three, the vignettes are a wee bit longer, right? They're

quite a bit longer on step three compared to step two. And also step three, the vignettes are a wee bit longer, right? They're quite a bit

fair amount of basic science. You know, again, it's sort of becoming a mute point because there's

more and more basic science being emphasized on step two, but also we definitely see a lot of basic science on step three, right?
