So question 51 says, 15-year-old boy is brought to the clinic after his father noticed

significant swelling of the boy's chest when it was getting dressed six hours ago.

The patient reports a three-month history of gradually worsening, left-sided chest pain and swelling.

But he says he was too embarrassed to tell his parents.

He has not had fever, chills, nightswets, loss of appetite, weight loss or any recent trauma to the chest.

Medical history is unremarkable and it takes no medications.

The patient is a good student. He does not smoke

cigarettes or drink alcoholic beverages. Temperature is 97.5, pulses 69 per minute. Respirations

are 14 per minute and blood pressure is 115 over 70. O2 Sat is 100% on room air.

Examination of the head, neck, and skin discloses no abnormalities.

There is a fixed palpable mass measuring approximately 14 by 12 centimeters on the left chest wall that is tender to palpation. The remainder of the physical exam

is discloses to abnormalities. Biopsy of this mass is most likely to show which of the following.

To be honest with you, I absolutely love this question because this is a very good kind of question where I can almost posit that

most people studying this have absolutely no idea what this is. In fact, when I was looking at

this question, I was like, man, I have no idea what this question is. And this is a realistic

exam situation, right? So literally, let's let's put ourselves in an exam seat.

These are realistic exam situations like, I have no idea what's going on.

This question is really, really confusing.
