Miss Liss had been preparing all weekend with dinosaur signs and banners placed around town.

She hoped everyone would see the signs and come in for dinosaur stories.

But what she didn't plan on was Lex.

Lex is a Tyrannosaurus rex, you know, a T-Rex who lived out in the fields beyond the town.

He liked to stop around and do dinosaur things, and he was always hungry.

One day as Lex was looking for something to eat,

he spotted a strange square sticking out of the grass by the edge of his field.

What's this?

wondered Lex.

He couldn't read, but if he could, he would see that it was a sign for Dinosaur Week at the library.

Instead, he just took a bite out of it.

Oh!

Hmm. interesting flavor.
