Cases continue to climb nationwide with major surges in a few states, as B117, the UK

variant, emerges as the dominant variant of the virus in the United States.

Deaths are also increasing in several states in Washington, DC.

The Biden administration announces that all adults aged 16 and older will be eligible for

vaccines by April 19th.

And while though, Johnson and Johnson's vaccine deployment hits a major hurdle, as they

slash their allocations by 86 percent, delaying America's sprint toward herd immunity.
