Dilaphasaurus, which was a special request via Facebook from our listener Luke as well as some dinosaur news.

First in the news, kind of getting it out of the way, is a story that's being misreported some places and reported correctly others about a large salamander-like creature from the Triassic era that is sort of

dinosaur-like. So the name, I think, is throwing off some news outlets because it's called

metoposaurus. So it's got that sorris bit to it that makes it sound like it might be a dinosaur.

But really, it's got the sprawled stance that you see with modern reptiles and non-dinosaur reptiles,

which means they look like they're doing a push-up rather than walking around like a dog or something,

the way humans and dinosaurs do and modern birds.

It's really interesting looking.

Some have described it as having a toilet-shaped head, which is pretty accurate.
