Would you turn in the Bible to Hebrews the sixth chapter this evening?

Make the effort.

Find the place in the Bible where it's written.

Let your eyes rest upon it.

Just gets in you better that way.

Hebrews 6.

We've been looking at this for some weeks now, a few weeks, a series we're calling diligence.

Hebrew 6 and the 10th verse says,

for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love.

He's not going to forget what?

Your work and your labor.

Somebody say work.

Are we supposed to be working?

Yes, we are.

He's not unrighteous to forget your work and your labor of love,

which you have showed toward his name in that you have ministered to the saints and do minister.

Now, the work, the labor that's going to mean the most and last the longest and please

the Lord the best and you get the most reward for is work that you did that helped people.

Work that you did that helped God's people, ministering to the saints.

He said, you've done it and you're still doing it.
