Would you turn with me to the book of Hebrews this evening, the sixth chapter?

We've got scriptorians all over the place here, people that know their Bible.

We're going to Hebrew 6.

We're going to believe God tonight and get something good from the Lord and be excited, something that will help us.

Because we have not arrived at total Christ-like perfection.

We're on our way, which means that you could improve and I could improve in different areas.

And so we ought to be excited about that, about the prospect of getting some things fixed and changed and improved.

And so let's believe for it.

Father, we thank you tonight for the privilege of being your children, being in your

family, having our names in the Lamb's Book of Life, knowing we are citizens of heaven.

Thank you that you're working on our mansions right now.

Working on our places.

Thank you that soon and very soon you're coming back to receive us to yourself.

We're so glad.

But Lord, we know that there's work to be done.

Between now and then, if it's a day or a year or 10 or 100, there's work to be done between now and then if it's a day or a year or ten or a hundred there's work to be

done and that we're here for a purpose for a reason so open our eyes and our ears enlighten our

minds and our heart and our understanding help us to see all that you would that we should

and we purpose not to be hearers only, forgetful hearers, but by your grace to be those who put

it into practice, those who are doers of the word.
