Turn with me again this evening to Hebrews the sixth chapter.

I think we're nearing the close of this series, but not yet.

Go to Hebrews 6 for some weeks now.

We've been talking about the subject of diligence.

So we've seen diligence portrayed, and this has been our text through these weeks.

Let's look at it again.

Hebrews 6 and 10.

Says, for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward his name in that you have ministered to the saints and do minister.

And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope

to the end that you be not slothful but followers of them who through faith and patience

inherit the promises.

It gives the example of Abraham and how he was diligent to believe God.

And even though it took many years, one aspect of diligence is you don't quit till it's done.

Isn't that what he said, unto the end?

Show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end.

I've had people sometimes come and whine and say, well, you know, I've been standing for three months.

What do I do now?

I said, well, has it happened?

Do you see it?

No.

Well, that's pretty obvious.
