Summary

Digital Catapult works across a range of technology layers helping SMEs grow and scale faster as well as helping larger corporations roll out digital products and services.
From artificial intelligence to virtual or augmented reality, Blockchain based applications, smart contracts and networks, they are working on the most recent discoveries in the Fintech world to help grow the UK digital economy.
Sam Davies, a Lead Technologist at Digital Catapult, is researching the use of blockchain & smart contract technology to integrated with the internet of things (IoT) and provide services. He touched upon the idea for developers to create a game using smart contracts and other up and coming ideas.
Even if you don't live in the UK or have an interest in the UK, companies that assist and incubate Fintech and other technologies may exist in your country or locale – it's worth a listen.
