Google Assistant will soon be in more than one billion devices. Yes, you heard right. That's billion with a B. The voice activated assistant often seems to play second fiddle to Amazon's Alexa. That's because the Amazon Echo lineup, powered by Alexa, is broader than the Google Home product family, but Google Assistant is embedded in more devices, from Android phones to

smart home technologies to your car. But beyond the obvious, the car, your phone, the digital

assistants are coming to things, places, and services you may not expect.

At the Consumer Electronics Show, Amazon and its partners showed off voice-activated,

lawnmowers, skateboards, window blinds, dog bowls, mirrors,

and in the category of you never knew you needed this, a $7,000 musical toilet.
