Previously on Digger, Dylan and his friend stopped at the foothills of the nowhere volcanoes in order to retrieve some blue crystal for Mac.

Mora, who had been feeling a surge in the light lately, used her powers to extract the crystal.

Before continuing on, they met a lower one named Ungra, the big Sasquatch-like being from a lower layer confirmed

everything they'd heard about Ryan and the lower ones and told them where to go to

reach the nowhere volcanoes.

As a parting gift, Ungra gave more a large yellow crystal, much like the one on her mother's

necklace.

Meanwhile, Kai ordered his risers to destroy Ryan before starting their rise to the surface.

But Kai wasn't rising with his army.

He was setting out to retrieve the drum rock key and was not far behind Dylan and his friends.

In the distance, his airship approached the foothills.
