Really, it's interesting.

I really want to do as much Q&A as possible because as of getting a landscape of who's

in the room, I recognize that there's a good percentage of people that know my field.

I know there's plenty that don't, but I found the more and more I speak that Q&A tends

to be the most valuable because people are able to ask specific questions without me

hypervalizing up here about the state of the union.

So I'm going to spiel for 20, 30, 40 minutes, and then I'd like to do as much Q&A as possible,

so if you've got questions, start thinking about it.

I guess I can start with the fact that we're clearly living in a very interesting time.

I consider myself an entrepreneur, and I think that it's never been a better time to be

an entrepreneur.

I'm stunned by the level of change that we're all living through.

I think when you take a step back in this room and think about everything that's happened

in the last five or 10 years, it's staggering that basically everything that this room thinks

about and cares about in growing their businesses or the other things they're passionate about

has fundamentally shifted, right?

And I think it starts with an important point.

So recognizing that there's a good group of entrepreneurs in here, recognizing that

there's a good group of companies that have 300, 500, 800 employees, software-based companies,

things of that nature, the one thing that connects everybody in this room, whether you're

trying to raise money for your school, whether you're trying to sell a book, whether you're
