So I thought this idea was genius.

The powers that be disagreed.

So a Montana breeder, Jack Shubarth,

apparently smuggled Argolly genetic material into the U.S.

Now, the Argolly sheep are the largest wild sheep on earth.

Okay?

And what he wanted to do and what he did was clone this ram named Montana Mountain King.

He used the MMK's semen to create hybrids bread for trophy hunting preserves.

Now, to me, that's a genius idea.

Apparently, it's not a genius idea because he was going to sell giant hybrid sheep to hunting operations

because hunters would pay thousands of dollars for a chance

to kill animals engineered for that size.

Now, they're cloned animals.

But apparently this 81-year-old Montana man sent since now to six months in prison for

illegally cloning an endangered Marco Polo Argolly sheep, nicknamed the Montana
